please.
Basura blog. lolz
May tatlong iba’t ibang taong nanlibre sa kin sa dalawang magkaibang coffee shop. Syet, masakit din pala sa ulo ‘yun.
I was chewing my nails while waiting for my name to be called. I was anxious, sleepy and somewhat hungry all at the same time. There was a man on my right who was wearing a hospital gown probably in his forties. He looked sick. And I assumed he’s a cancer patient. His wife was sitting beside him, attending to his needs. His doctor called him and accompanied him to the laboratory room. His wife waited.
I heard someone calling my name – a doctor. I nodded at her and gave her a warm smile. She asked me some questions that I readily answered. When she was finished asking preliminary questions, she gave me some instructions and told me to wait for the nurse who’ll give me a test dose to check if I’ll develop allergic reactions to it.
Fortunately, all the preliminary tests were okay.
Another nurse handed me a one-liter plastic container filled with a special solution which they call contrast medium. She asked me to drink 80% of it as fast as I could so that we can proceed with the actual test as soon as possible. It took me less than a minute to do what she asked me to do.
When she came back, I told her the time I finished drinking 80% of the magic brew. She then gave me a hospital gown and instructed me to wear it. “Be sure to remove any metal,” she said.
to be continued…
This is where I lived when I was still in Malaysia.

The rain pours hard as I leave the office. I try to get a cab but to no avail. So I decide to just walk.
I turn on my iPod and load an album of James Blunt. His songs and the cold rain are a perfect combination.
I raise the volume above maximum and pretend that I’m in another world. I snap my fingers, dance a little bit, sing along with James Blunt and never give a sh it about the people around me.
I am enjoying the moment.
I don’t care if my shoes and even my pants are soaking wet.
The weather is kind of cool. The perfect weather, I must say.
I head to a mall to have a nice dinner. I’m thinking that I should treat myself after having spent 5 hours in the office on a Sunday afternoon.
The mall is unbelievably crowded. Thank goodness, I only need to spend less than an hour in this people-infested place. I will soon find a quiet place and have a cup of tea or coffee and probably read a pleasant book.
Maybe I was a barista in my past life. I just feel so at home whenever I’m in a coffee shop – any coffee shop.
I love looking at lovely girls. I love watching them especially when they’re enjoying their coffee. I like it when they take a sip from a paper cup. Or even from a white porcelain mug. I find it sexy.
I am supposed to be reading A Theory of Learning for the Mobile Age but I’m getting tons of distractions. I decide to put it away and just continue with what I do best – watching moving works of art.
I suddenly wish that I smoke.
I take a last sip of the stale mocha, put my earphones on and leave.
