Allied Bank says it wants to exceed clients’ expectations.

Yeah, right!

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to realize that you can’t exceed your clients’ expectations by requiring them to pickup their bank statements from their respective branches on a monthly basis.

You don’t have to have an MBA degree to know that it is important to PROACTIVELY communicate changes in the terms and conditions of certain accounts with your clients.

I guess I have made my point when I talked to the Allied Bank Legazpi-Makati branch manager. Though I’m pretty sure she just made some empty promises to make me stop talking and leave her office.

I really hate dealing with local banks.

Thank you!

Photo Comics

I find it a bit annoying to see nothing but a series of photo comics in my blog. So I decided to just create another site that will contain all my pathetic photo comics. Click me! Click me! Note that there’s also a link found under the “My Other Sites” section.

At the moment, I’m looking for a fitting wordpress-pixelpost plugin. Hope to find one soon.

Expectations never fail to pull me down

In the company of three different brands of beer.

I lack sleep but still could not fall asleep.

Coffee might not come in handy this time.

Seriously, it’s not quarter-life crisis.

Existential crisis? Not so sure. No one would care if it is the case, anyway.

Maybe it’s just one of those crappy days.

Hope tomorrow is not like today.

The longest introduction I sent to someone I was adding as friend in FB

Hi ____, I saw your email address in my cellphone’s Drafts folder so I did a quick search on FB. I’m not sure if you can still remember me. I met you at NAIA Terminal 1 more than two years ago. I was going to Singapore for a short vacation and you were going back to SG after attending the wedding of your friend. I remember you gave me a krispy kreme donut (you had two or three boxes with you as pasalubong). I bought you a bottle of mineral water in return.

And yeah, I remember you’re a chemist. :D

Questionable Content

I’m on 1116th comic strip right now. I must admit that this comics thingy is keeping me sane. :D

Mismo

The hardest part of parenting is arguably disciplining our children. It’s a tough job; somebody’s got to do it; and we, as the parents, have to do it.

Got this one from some random blog. I guess, the same thing applies in the  workplace. I’m just wondering why some people don’t seem to realize it.

Being nice and cool didn’t work so I tried something else.

Warning: Another one of those tweets.

The bad:

Rough day in the office.

The good:

Very nice Japanese food for lunch.

Cups and cups  of coffee.

An even better dinner. Not to mention the bottles of beer, grilled pork, crispy pata, beef steak and sinigang.

Sweet

Yesterday, my brother bought me this cool Nike tennis polo shirt. It’s so nice I wanted to get myself all the available colors. But the penny-pinching in me resurfaced and won yet again. So I guess I have to content myself with this freebie in the meantime.

Then I saw this wow Lacoste sneakers. It’s kind of classy and comfy at the same time. I would have bought a pair if only it won’t cost me one of my kidneys. Dammit, hell knows I really wanted to buy that piece of sht.

Autumn

An unpaved road covered with autumn leaves of red, brown and orange. There, I see you walking. Slowly. You are enjoying the cold wind as it blows in your lovely face. I watch you from afar. Sheer bliss.

This is what you call addiction

I’ve been sitting in front of the TV practically the whole day watching some terrific tennis matches. And I really mean TERRIFIC matches. From the one-sided Isner-Murray match, to the boring-turned-exciting match of Karlovic and Nadal, to the epic battle between Cilic and del Potro, and of course the Wickmayer and Henin match - a match made in heaven.

Omigod, Henin is a genius. Good thing she decided to play tennis again.

The Australian Open is only being shown in Star Sports. One of the channels I decided to remove a few months back to lower my monthly Sky Cable bill. I thought all the tennis grand slams are being aired in Balls. But I was wrong. I had to ask Sky Cable to add Star Sports in my channel list again. Doing so means additional 150 pesos in my monthly bill. But that’s okay, it is still way below my old monthly bill of 800 pesos. One more thing, Star Sports is bundled with ESPN. The bad thing is I never tune in to that chanell. lolz

That’s all for now. The Henin and Wickmayer match is still in progress. I’m pretty sure I’ll being seeing more of Henin’s magical shots.

Existential crisis is hitting hard on me yet again. Probably because of the d*ckery I’ve submitted myself to for the past couple of months. Call it karma or whatever you want.

One thing is for sure, it is no fun.

Some non-sense updates >:)

I’ve finished reading the 641st strip of Questionable Content. Isn’t that amazing?!

A hundred pages to go before I finish Grisham’s The Appeal. I guess, I need to buy a new one that I can read each time there’s no cable or internet connection. LOLZ

In other news, I paid Makati Med a good 3-hour visit this afternoon. Dammit, waiting there with other patients felt like forever. I hope that tomorrow would be the last time I set foot in that hospital. I love the Herb Chicken Sandwich from Seattle’s Best @ MMC, though. Hehehe. :D

.

There’s a lot of things going on my mind right now. It’s not actually weird because this has always been the case. The difference this time is that things are starting to choke my brain up.

Talk about being f*cked up. Know what I mean? I feel like I’m digging my very own hellhole. And I’m digging it double time. Crazy.

Homeless Hipsters

I wonder why some people fancy breakfast in bed so much. I guess they haven’t tried reading webcomics in bed immediately after waking up in the morning. I think it is way cooler.

You guessed it right. Homeless Hipsters is the title of Questionable Content’s 275th strip. >:)

Names, names and more names

Wrong move

Globe Telecom has become overly aggressive in the area of online advertisement. I’ve been seeing their humungous ads in different websites for the past couple of days.

Wrong move.

What they need to do is to improve their crappy core business and not focus on these silly advertisements.

Here we go again

So I have another appointment tomorrow with the same orthopedic doctor I saw last week. The funny thing about these appointments is that they seem to scare the sh it out of my ankle. I mean the night before the appointment, the pain would just go away. To the point that I feel like running a distance of 5km won’t give me the slightest ouch. The first thing it happened, I canceled my appointment. The sucky part is that the pain suddenly went back.

It’s de ja vu.

Dammit.

I got an appointment tomorrow (Did I mention I got an appointment tomorrow? Hahaha.) and my silly left ankle seems to be acting weird again. My ankle doesn’t hurt that bad. I’m not complaining but it’s just weird. And it’s utterly annoying.

I’m thinking of canceling my appointment again. But wait! What if the pain comes back again?

Ugh!

You have to read this webcomic thingy

Questionable Content really rocks. Click me! Click me!

I’m damn sure you’ll have a great time reading it. Trust me.

2 weeks

Yeah, it’s already been two weeks but my left ankle still hurts. The orthopedic doctor I saw just last week told me that everything is okay as what the x-ray results showed. “It will soon be gone, ” he said.

Well I hope it’s the pain, not the ankle. LOL

Rants and all

I wanted to have a cup of tea or something but I’m too lazy to go out. This bad headache - probably due to cough -  is REALLY spoiling my weekend.

Good thing SkyCable has already installed the cable TV early this afternoon. The sad part is that they failed to install the broadband. They promised me that they’ll install it tomorrow, though.

A week’s worth of laundry is waiting for me. Dammit. Not to mention a pile of dirty dishes  in the kitchen sink. How I wish a kind fairy would  fix these things for me while I’m asleep.

Globe Broadband really sucks. I guess it’s time for them to shut down their business.

Someone has got a new toy >:)

Okay, so green is the color of the day.

Let’s not complicate things, okay?

And yeah, tomorrow is another coffee day. Fine, everyday is a coffee day.

I can feel it’s coming.

Thanks Tracy for the company. I love your fast car, by the way.

All that you have is your soul.

Damn, my eyes are getting heavy.

Night folks.
